pupils also have the opportunity to leave the classroom and visit
many parts of the country, either as part of their Geography and
Science syllabuses or as an extra activity organised by members
of staff. These include visits to the National Parks, areas of Conversational
interest, outdoor education centres, volcanic regions, the National
Museum and an annual trek up Mt. Kenya for the Senior Form. The
ascent of Mt. Kenya is a highlight for the leaving students as they
tackle extreme conditions to reach Pt. Lenana, 5000m above sea level.
