SCHOLARSHIPS

At Cavina, we are proud of our academic rigour, and our pupils consistently perform above expectations in their Common Entrance examination, set by the Independent Schools Examination Board.

Many of our past and current pupils have won academic, sports and music scholarships to top senior schools that include Peponi Secondary, St Andrew’s Turi, Brookhouse and Hillcrest.

We are also very proud to see several former Cavina pupils win the Beacon Scholarship, a leadership bursary that provides 2/3 of costs for the entirety of the child’s secondary and UK university education, providing access to the highest-quality institutions.

Cavina offers a maximum of two scholarships a year. The Kenneth Mason Scholarship is awarded to a pupil joining the school in Lower VI (Year 7), while the Founder’s Scholarship is awarded to a pupil joining in either Form IV or Form V (Years 5 or 6). Please note that these scholarships are only awarded if a place becomes available and only if candidates meet the criteria described below.

  • Demonstrates academic excellence and shows that he/she would be able to cope with the Common Entrance curriculum

 BURSARIES

Bursaries are only offered to the Kenneth Mason Scholar or the Founder’s Scholar on a means-tested basis. They are not available unless you apply for a bursary on the understanding that you will have to make full (but confidential) disclosure of your finances to our accounts department. The maximum bursary is up to 30 percent but a lower bursary may be offered depending on your means testing.
