Expeditions
At Cavina, we regard activities outside of the classroom a vital part of a child’s education, allowing them to discover new passions, challenge themselves and embrace all possible opportunities.
We are fortunate in Kenya to have stunning wilderness and wildlife, and our current trips range from camel trekking across wildlife conservancies and taking part in primate research, a five-day trip to climb Mt Kenya, Outward Bound expeditions involving rock climbing and abseiling, trips to the coast to study marine conservation and the storied history of the Swahili Coast and expeditions to climb and study volcanoes in the Rift Valley.
Closer to home, our children also take shorter excursions, which might involve spending time on a tea plantation, learning how to make cheese, going on a trek or engaging in conservation and charity outreach.
