Sixth Form Teatime Talks

Several times over the academic year we will invite guest drawn from a cross-section of society to come and talk to pupils in Lower and Upper VI (Years 7 and 8). They include authors, judges, activists, journalists, scientists, conservationists, and politicians.

The aim of these informal lectures is to expose our children to the real world in an engaging and stimulating way. These talks serve to inspire, to demonstrate the purpose of learning and to identify new passions that might give children an idea of what they want to do in the future.

Among the guests who have come to speak to our Sixth Form are Willy Mutunga, the former chief justice, Paula Kahumbu, the CEO of Wildlife Direct, PLO Lumumba, former chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission and Rob Burnet, the founder of Shujaaz.
