In today’s interconnected world, technology plays a vital role in every aspect of our lives. At Cavina, we recognise the importance of equipping our pupils with the knowledge and skills required to thrive in this digital age. Our goal is to ignite a passion for technology within our pupils while also developing their computational thinking abilities and empowering them to navigate and succeed in our world today.
At school we not only use technology in our classrooms as a teaching tool, but also have a well-equipped computer lab where pupils attend weekly lessons. We emphasise practical, hands-on learning experiences that allow our pupils to apply their knowledge to class projects, problem-solving questions, and even real-world situations, with the aim of preparing them for the challenges they may encounter in the future. By engaging with computer systems, software applications, and programming concepts, our pupils develop problem-solving and creative thinking skills, logical reasoning and a good understanding of the fundamental principles of technology.
