All teachers and games coaches at Cavina are qualified in first aid. In addition, we have a fulltime paediatric nurse, Lynda Khisa, who is on hand to deal with minor injuries and illnesses. She also monitors the physical and emotional wellbeing of pupils and provides fitness and nutrition advice as needed.

In addition, Cavina pupils are covered by AAR insurance, which provides an ambulance service if needed, as well as some outpatient cover.
